Coping With Stress

Hi there everybody! I hope that you’ve had a wonderful week. Mine was… challenging. I had some changes at work that I am still trying to adjust to, and my poor oldest is sick with bronchitis. The hubs is getting ready to head out for the week, so I’ll be spending the day getting him ready to go and making sure that he doesn’t forget anything.

This week, while coping with stress, I’ve been having fun playing with the hubs’ coffee thermos, and letting him know how I feel about him each and every morning… It’s a lot of fun (he thinks it’s hilarious too) and as long as it’s done with a dry erase marker, it just wipes right off!

In addition to coping with some extra stress, I’ve been gearing up for my youngest son’t birthday… He’s turning 8 soon, can you believe it? In preparation for it, he created his very own wish list. As you can see, he’s very much into Legos and building things, so I am currently researching and getting ready to throw him a Lego birthday party. It’s going to be so much fun, and he will be THRILLED!

Oh my, and on top of getting ready for the birthday, I am getting ready for Valentine’s day and my anniversary. We have soooo much in our family that happens so close together. It’s left me wishing for May to be here already! 🙂

Oh, on to fitness… I am still doing my workout, although I don’t think I am seeing any results just yet. I am getting ready to step it up a notch or two, and get back to running daily (if I can deal with the cold!)… After all, my sister has signed me up for not one, but two 5k races in June, and I have a goal of completing a 5k in under 30 minutes this year.

How are you doing this week? Are you coping with stress, or are you lucky enough to not be stressed out?

P.S. How can you be stressed when you’re looking at a face like this?
