Your challenge this week is organizing kids’ bedrooms. This week’s task is important not only so these rooms in your home are not an eye sore, but also so your kids can really use and enjoy their rooms to their fullest.
All of us want a space to call our own, and whether our children share a room, or have one all to themselves, somewhere in that room is most likely “their” space. This week our goal is to make that space both functional and fun to be in.
Just like with last week’s challenge the steps below may be something you do all on your own if you have very young children. However, if you have older children these steps really should be taken together with your child, because your kids need to be involved with organizing their own rooms.

Your challenge this week is to take steps toward decluttering and organizing closet space for your kids’ clothes and possessions. Organizing kids’ closets so they can find the things they need quickly and easily is important both for children too young to do it themselves, and for your older kids that need to learn some organization skills of their own.
Of course, exactly what you need to do differs depending on how old your kids are. Plus, if you have several children like me (I have three) than you may not be able to get all these closets organized in one week. That’s no problem, just go at your own pace for the little ones’ closets and get your older children to pitch in for their own.

This week’s challenge is to organize makeup and cosmetics, to get yourself looking good without having to search for everything you need constantly.
Once you’ve completed this challenge the goal is that your morning and/or evening beauty routine will be shortened because you’ll have less clutter to deal with, and can spend more time applying your makeup and other beauty products, rather than searching for them.
Some concepts covered in this challenge were already mentioned briefly in the bathroom organization challenge, but that was a while ago, and so you can probably hear a refresher anyway.
Plus, this will be geared specifically to your beauty products, and not the whole bathroom in general.
Organize Makeup And Cosmetics
This week we will deal with organizing personal care products of many varieties, including not only makeup, but also lotions, cleansers, toiletries, nail products, and makeup applicators.

This week’s challenge is to organize shoes and boots for yourself and family members. In a way this week’s task isn’t really too hard, even if you tackle every pair of shoes in the house, because we’re just dealing with shoes.
But on the other hand, at least for some of us, we absolutely love shoes. And since I’ll be asking you to declutter the pairs down to what you can really realistically store in your house, in the space you’ve got, this can be difficult.
Don’t panic though if this is you. Just work through it one pair at a time, and you’ll most likely discover some shoes you’ve completely forgotten but that will quickly become new favorites, while gaining the resolve to reduce your collection.
